Lin POINTED OUT THAT THE CITY GOVERNMENT WILL OPEN THE REGISTRATION OF SAME-SEX COUPLES FROM October, WHICH IS THE RIGHT THING FOR A PROGRESSIVE AND HUMAN RIGHTS CITY TO DO, AND THAT TAICHUNG SHOULD BE A LIVABLE CITY THAT TREATS EVERYONE WHO LIVES HERE WELL, AND HOPES THAT TAICHUNG CAN BECOME A CITY THAT RESPECTS THE DIVERSITY AND INCLUSIVENESS OF ALL GENDERS.
